FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cable trays for electric cables support. A cable tray is an assembly of at least two galvanized steel parts, wherein the first part (5) comprises a receiving element (6) having at least one opening (7), and the second part (10) comprises at least one head end (11), which interacts with the receiving element and is provided with at least one projection (12) protruding in the first plane from the head end; at least one projection extends through the aperture and is bent behind the receiving element, wherein the bent end of the projection, in essence, extends in the second plane intersecting the first plane and forming an angle; the projection interacts with the receiving element and presses it against the head end, thereby connecting the two parts, wherein the intersection of the at least one protrusion with the plane dividing in half the angle between the first and the second planes and dissecting the bent projection is curved relative to the intersection of the first and the second planes.
EFFECT: invention provides an improved method of joining two galvanized steel parts with each other.
