FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: frame filter comprises two sequentially mounted frames with filter panels, inlet and outlet channels of the processing fluid medium, a washing system, a system of sludge collection and disposal, a drip-proof canopy, a control unit which allows to carry out the liquid filtration process in automatic and/or manual modes. The frames are installed in the U-shaped trusses, upright truss posts are made in the form of plain slideways from the channel, the frames move along them, having the mobility in the vertical plane and alternately operating on the fluid clarification so that a frame lifting for washing of filter panel from adhered sludge becomes possible only after lowering and putting into operation the frame with a clean filter panel. Position of the filter section in the channel or housing relative to the flow can be made perpendicular or diagonal at any angle to the stream or parallel to the stream with overlapping the channel by the end wall, not allowing the passage of the filtered liquid past the panel.
