And then calculating the ratio of the peak height of the peak at 1165 cm-1 peak to peak height of the 1070 cm-1, height of the peak with a maximum at 1165 cm-1 to the peak height of the peak 1150 cm-1, height of the peak with a maximum at 1165 cm-1 to the height of the peak from 1140 cm-1 maximum, height of the peak with a maximum at 1040 cm-1 peak to peak height of the 1070 cm-1 and value of the ratio 1165/1070, equal to 0.17±0.02, with the value of the ratio 1165/1150, equal to 0.28±0.06, with the value of the ratio 1165/1140, equal to 0.41±0.01, and the value of the relationship 1040/1070, equal to 0.63±0.03 diagnose gingivitis.

EFFECT: method is simple and accurate, requires the implementation of expensive and time consuming and can be recommended as a screening diagnosis of a large population of patients due to its simplicity, accuracy, and efficiency and the use of standard equipment - IR spectrophotometer.
