FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: in the process before the modification at a temperature of 770-780°C in the melt is introduced calcium and iron in an amount of 0.05-0.15% and 0.005-0.015%, respectively, of the mass of the melt with an iron injection interval of at least 10 minutes, after holding the melt for 10-20 minutes at a temperature of 720-750°C are modified by magnesite in an amount of 0.3-0.4% of the melt weight, with iron being introduced into the iron-containing alloy at the ratio of iron to the zirconium impurity in the alloy of 0.25-2.5.
EFFECT: invention eliminates the adverse effect of impurity of zirconium provides the possibility of modifying the alloy to improve the quality of the casting by reducing the hydrogen content in the alloy, thereby reducing the possibility of microweakness formation and allows to obtain a fine-grained alloy structure and stable mechanical properties.
