FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: longitudinal metal rolling is performed in a mill with two three-roll passes forming the closest deformation zones. Increasing strength properties of metal sections produced by creating a fragmented metal structure with a high dislocation density is achieved by the fact that the rolling is carried out in the rolls with surface roughness of Ra 3.0-9.0 m and logarithmic reduction ratio in each pass not less than 0.4 while the velocities of roll periphery are regulated by a mathematical relationship.
EFFECT: implementation of the represented method allows you to create a complex scheme of the stress-strain state, which includes high deformations of both uniform compression and displacement.
