FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes cold rolling of the strip in two rolls, with a mismatch of their circumferential speeds to the total deformation degree of 75-95% with a minimum unit strain of 50%. The increase in the strength properties of articles due to the creation of a metal fragmented structure with a high dislocation density in the absence of thermally activated softening processes during deformation heating of the metal in the deformation zone is ensured by the fact that the rolling is produced with the regulated circumferential velocities of the rolls. The maximal unit degree of deformation during rolling is set at not more than 75%, and after each pass the strip is cooled to the temperature of 20-25°C.
EFFECT: increasing the strength.
