FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises rolling a thin strip of aluminium alloys in two rolls with their circumferential velocity disagreement in at least two times with a single degree of deformation of at least 50% up to 75-95% of the total degree of deformation. Before rolling, the thin strip is cooled to -153÷-196°C, and immediately after rolling, the strip is heated to the temperature of 20-25°C at 100-400°C/sec.

EFFECT: simultaneous increase in the products strength and plastic properties in the conditions of intensification of the metal grains fragmenting process by mechanical twinning process initiation and increasing dislocations density under the influence of high shear deformations and suppression of dynamic recovery process and recrystallization in cryogenic temperatures.
