FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: to determine the structural kidney incompleteness for newborn lambs, kidney topography and morphometry is determined visually at autopsy, renal parenchyma structure is defined histologically, and in case of organ morphometric parameters increase during topographical study, presence of provisional type nephrons and renal tubules epithelial cells with optically cleared or foamed cytoplasm, structural kidney incompleteness is concluded.

EFFECT: method can determine the structural kidney incompleteness state for healthy newborn lambs, based on the assessment of their topography, morphometric and histological features.
