SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and a method for separate regulation of gas pressure or control of separate gas pressure in each oven of a coke oven battery. The device for separate regulation of gas pressure or control of gas pressure in each oven (1) of a coke oven battery, wherein the knee (4) of a pressure pipe has a lower end coupled with an immersion pipe (12) through a hydraulic labyrinth seal (9), wherein the immersion pipe (12) is supported in a manner which enables its vertical adjustment through a drive (19). In order to cause pressure change, the immersion pipe (12) is configured to be immersed at different depths in a submerged nozzle (21), located below the immersion pipe (12), the knee (4) of the pressure pipe has inside it a double-wall hollow bar (16) which serves to position the immersion pipe (12) and the lower end of which is coupled through at least one pipe (17) with the hydraulic labyrinth seal (9), and water supply means (20) for feeding the hydraulic labyrinth seal (9) and the drive (19) are made on top on the outer side of the knee (4) of the pressure pipe.

EFFECT: easy and reliable adjustment and control of gas pressure.
