FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method and the device for regulation of pressure in coking chambers in the battery of coke furnaces. The device contains the battery of coke furnaces consisting of coking chambers which can be sealed and fitted with the riser connected through the elbow to the crude gas manifold, the riser at the top end of the elbow is implemented with a hole and an element for its plugging, and the elbow is fitted with the inlet fitting for liquid supply by means of which to the riser the supply of the liquid flowing into the crude gas manifold can be performed and downstream in the elbow the riser is opened through the discharge section in the crude gas manifold, and between the elbow and discharge section there is a orifice with the adjustable cross section which is used for interruption of gas and liquid flow and which is fitted with the device for adjustment of the hole cross section, the riser elbow and the crude gas manifold are connected by a siphon through which liquid can penetrate even at the closed orifice, or the orifice contains a slot-hole due to which a part of cross section of the orifice remains open in cross section.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of adjustment of pressure in gas space of the coking chamber.
