SUBSTANCE: coke oven gas flows are controlled in coke oven discharge tube system 10. Said system 10 comprises tube unit for transfer of gases 14 from coke oven into main manifold 16 and flow control means. The latter comprise pass hole 22 in tube unit with shutoff element 20 fitted therein. Said element 20 may displace axially between open and closed positions; in the latter, said elements shuts off pass hole 22. Tube system 10 comprises orifice hole 28 arranged to provide for passage for gases 14 toward main manifold 16. Orifice hole 28 features smaller total cross-section area than pass hole 22.
EFFECT: improved flow control parameters.
