FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compound produced by means of a method including the following stages of: (i) conducting a reaction between at least one isocyanate-containing compound in stoichiometric excess and at least one isocyanate-reactive compound characterised by a number average molecular weight equal to or greater than 400 g/mol, resulting in the production of at least one prepolymer containing soft blocks and hard blocks in the structure thereof, whereing the prepolymer contains an unreacted isocyanate monomer, (ii) conducting a reaction between said at least one prepolymer and a hydroxyl ester compound or a hydroxyl acid compound to produce a prepolymer containing hydroxyl ester terminal groups, or a prepolymer containing hydroxyl acid terminal groups, and closing the cycle for said prepolymer containing hydroxyl ester terminal groups, or prepolymer containing hydroxyl acid terminal groups; (iii) producing the above compound formed from a prepolymer containing oxazolidinedione terminal groups, and a monomer containing oxazolidinedione terminal groups, soluble in the above prepolymer containing oxazolidinedione terminal groups.

EFFECT: resulting compound is characterised by higher functional capability while a more efficient and simple method for production is used.
