Rotating metal melt in the form of a thin-walled cylinder is cooled by being supplied with its cavity hot coolant gas at up to 100°C/c and gravitation coefficient ranging from 200 to 10,000 depending on the desired grain size in the solidified metal.
EFFECT: due to the heat transfer rate is provided a metal article with a desired uniform structure and defined properties.
