FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: colloidal solution contains methyl cellosolve and silver nanoparticles and silver nanoparticles has a concentration of from 0.29 to 0.30 wt %, with the following share distribution of silver nanoparticles by size: 80% - nanoparticles 50-75 nm size, 20% - about the size of nanoparticles from 80 nm to 100 nm. The colloidal solution of the nanosilver in methyl cellosolve is obtained by the reduction reaction of a solution of silver methanesulfonate, a concentration of 10-3-10-5 Mol/l in methyl cellosolve using equimolar amount of ascorbic acid as a reducing agent, the process being carried out with stirring at a speed of 750-800 rpm in a methyl cellosolve medium at a temperature of 20-30°C.
EFFECT: invention provides a colloidal solution of a nanosilver in methyl cellosolve, which is stable for more than half a year and is stored in glass vials in the dark, and also has a narrow particle size distribution, which provides an expansion of the range of produced polymeric materials modified with nanosilver.
