FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for prediction of acute affection of kidneys (AAK) in patients with acute decompensation of chronic heart failure (ADCHF). Essence of the method: sampling of blood is performed with the following determination of N-terminal precursor of brain natriuretic hormone (NT-proBNP) by immunoassay. If concentration of NT-proBNP, determined in patient, is higher than 275 pg/ml, high probability of AAK development is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict development of acute affection of kidneys, which gives possibility of prevention and treatment of such patients in due time.
