FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular, to a segmented stator. The stator comprises a plurality of segments connected by connectors to form the core of the stator. Each segment includes a plurality of plates placed next to each other, forming a set of plates with the axially opposite sides. The set of plates has an end cap adjacent the axial side of the plate set. The end cap has the first and second pins extending axially therefrom. At least one of the pins determines the wire path for the wire wound around the set. Each of the connectors comprises a portion of the bridge. The portion of the bridge has orifices of such a size that they take the pins so that the connector is detachably connected to the end cap pin of a segment and to the end cap pin of an adjacent segment. The connector has an insulating piece projecting from the bridge portion. Insulating part extends between adjacent segments when the connector is detachably connected to the adjacent segments.
EFFECT: invention increases the manufacturability of the design.
