FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: process of producing the corundum ceramics containing metallic nickel, comprises the steps of heat treating the aluminium oxide additive administration nickel, pressing under a specific pressure of 100 kgf pressing and sintering at 1550°C in hydrogen atmosphere. Nickel-containing additive of dimethylglyoxime is entered into the alumina acid powder as a solution in ethanol, followed by removing the ethanol by evaporation at 100°C, at the following content of components in the ceramic batch, in wt %: nickel dimethylglyoxime 1-20, alumina acid - the rest.

EFFECT: improved distribution of the nickel layers in the matrix of corundum and reduction of sintering temperature of the cermet.
