FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of invention refers to medical equipment, namely to ultrasonic devices for lipids separation from the blood. The method includes the stages, when the blood is passed through a flow chamber which contains a source of acoustic energy and a reflector on the opposite side, the source of acoustic energy is activated to create multiple three dimensional standing waves in blood and remove lipids trapped in the three-dimensional standing waves, having the effect of acoustic radiation, which contains the components of axial and lateral forces of the same order of magnitude. The device consists of a flow chamber with an inlet and outlet, an ultrasonic transducer at the flow chamber wall including a ceramic crystal, the transducer is driven by an oscillating, intermittent or pulsed signal and generates three-dimensional standing waves in the flow chamber, and a reflector located on the wall opposite the transducer.
EFFECT: use of the inventions allows higher effectiveness in removal of lipids from blood.
