FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: mixing duct comprises an inlet, an outlet and an injection zone located between the said openings. The injection zone has a longitudinal central axis and includes a built-in or detachable sprayer or an element adapted to receive a detachable sprayer. The useful cross-sectional area of the mixing duct in the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal central axis, sharply decreases in the air flow direction or at the lower end in the air flow direction of the injection zone. The cross-sectional area in the injection area less than at the upper end of the injection zone. Sharp decrease in the cross-sectional area is provided by a step in the mixing duct. The mixing chamber has a cylindrical or cylindroid wall and emits aerosol at or near the longitudinal central axis of the injection zone at an angle of 45° to 135° relative to the longitudinal central axis A of the injection zone. The inhalation device comprises a mixing duct or a mixing chamber.
EFFECT: reduced losses of aerosol droplets and improved mixing process that leads to uniform distribution of droplets in the aerosol.
