FIELD: physics, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communications. The technical result consists in the fact that by treatment of the leading-in-time timer with the base station or the terminal, the leading-in-time timer, which corresponds to the range, where the PCell is, expires last, thereby preventing interruption of the terminal communication due to the advanced expiration of the leading-in-time timer, which corresponds to the range, where the PCell is. The method to maintain the leading-in-time timer contains the steps at which: it is estimated by the base station, whether the range, in which the uplink is to be adjusted, includes only the range, where the primary cell is; the leading-in-time command is transmitted by the base station to the range, where the initial cell is, if the range, where the primary cell is, is the only part of the configuration, so that the leading-in-time timer, which corresponds to the range, where the primary cell is, is to be restarted.
EFFECT: invention to maintain the leading-in-time timer, the base station and the terminal equipment.
