FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be used to reduce cholesterol and/or triglyceride levels for patients with type 2 diabetes. To do this, a composition is applied, with the energy value of 0.9 to 1.5 kcal/ml, containing isomaltulose and a protein source, wherein the said source of protein is between 12 to 25 en. % of the total composition, and containing at least 10 wt % of aspartate equivalents of the total protein content.
EFFECT: invention can effectively stimulate cholesterol and/or triglyceride levels reduction for patients with type 2 diabetes.
