FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises single determination of basal estradiol levels on the second day of the menstrual cycle and the number of antral follicles in both ovaries, subsequent calculation of the antral follicle aromatase activity coefficient by the following formula: K = E2/n, where K is the ovaries antral follicles aromatase activity coefficient in pmol/l; E2 is the basal level of estradiol in the blood on day 2 of the menstrual cycle in pmol/l; n is the number of antral follicles in the both ovaries. At K<8.1 pmol/l, aromatase activity is low, at 8.1<K<28.3 pmol/l, it is normal, at K>28.3 pmol/l antral follicles aromatase activity is high.

EFFECT: method can accurately evaluate the ovaries antral follicles aromatase activity, as their count is an absolute indicator, expand the arsenal of methods to determine the ovaries antral follicles aromatase activity and cause difficulties in comparing the results of determination of the absolute number of antral follicles, obtained in different health facilities .
