METHOD FOR USING MELT WATER Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A01G25/00 E03B3/30

Abstract RU 2619759 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention is implemented as follows. From wet and heavy snow mass accumulated outside the seed field territory, extruded briquettes 1 are formed. Near the seed field a deepening is made and shrouded with the film 2 of waterproof material. The extruded briquettes 1 are laid (stacked) on the film 2, forming a storage clamp of circular or rectangular shape. Then the storage clamp is covered by heat insulating material 3 to be isolated from the ambient air effect. By varying the thickness or coating area of the insulation material 3, the melting rate of the briquettes 1 is controlled. Near the storage clamp on the side of the seed field, the container 4 for accumulating melt water 6 formed during the gradual thawing of briquettes 1, is placed. The container 4 by its level is placed below the bottom of the deepening in the ground, in order that the melt water collected on the film 2 flowed by gravity into the container 4. Near the container 4 the reservoir 9 for storing the melt water is placed. The reservoir 9 is placed by height above level of the container 4 for storing the melt water 6. The melt water 6 in the process of its accumulation in the container 4 is pumped into the reservoir 9. From the reservoir 9 the melt water flows by gravity along the temporary pipeline system to plants for irrigation. All system elements - the storage clamp, the container, the reservoir - are located in the highest slope point on the edge 8 of the field 7 for effectively using the natural slope for irrigation.

EFFECT: expansion of the agricultural and especially vegetable crops, as well as melons and gourds, cultivation area and improving their productivity and quality, the cultivation cost reduction due to their controlled irrigation with melt water throughout the growing period, improving the health of consumers due to transferring the useful properties of melt water at the consumption of products grown by means of irrigating with melt water.
