FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural production, in particular to vegetable growing, and is used for water accumulation with possibility of its use for irrigation. In the period preceding the seasonal decrease of the level of solar activity, briquettes (5) are formed by freezing with subsequent isolation from the effect of ambient temperature with a layer of heat-insulating material. Container (7) and reservoir (9) for water storage are used. Accumulation of water is carried out in autumn in water reservoir. With the help of floating craft or aviation equipment, water surface is uniformly coated with polymer-granules of sorbent with its further swelling and water absorption. Water reservoir covering is started from leeward side. After coating of water surface granules of sorbent are covered with heat-insulating material by spraying of black hydrophilic-capillary-porous material in form of peat mass. Ice area is frozen in the form of briquettes (5). Briquettes (5) of ice with sorbent granules frozen in it by amount of their filling with water correspond to amount of moisture introduced into soil, which is necessary for plants for the whole vegetation period of their development on a certain area. Briquettes (5) are moved to the edge of field (4) and stored in the form of blocks laid on waterproof film (6) with recess into the ground, covering with a film and from above. As melting, water released from sorbent flows into vessel (7) and accumulates in reservoir (10) with possibility of its use for irrigation.
EFFECT: expansion of growing area.
