METHOD OF WATER INFLOW LIMITATION IN FLOODED CARBONE RESERVOIRS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC E21B33/13 E21B43/12

Abstract RU 2619778 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method of water inflow limitation in flooded carbone reservoirs includes preparation, injection and squeezing of polyaluminium chloride water solutions to the isolation zone, leaving the well to respond to form a gel from polyaluminium chlorideaqueous solution, and to complete and commission the well. The coiled tubing (CT) is lowered and placed over the isolated perforating interval. The perforation interval injectivity is determined, from 30 to 45 m3 10% polyaluminium chloride aqueous solution is injected at teh perforation interval injectivity from 1.0 to 3.0 m3/(h⋅MPa) or from 45 to 90 m3 at injectivity from 3.0 to 10.0 m3/(h⋅MPa). The injection and squeezing of the polyaluminium chloride solution is carried out at the maximum liquid flow rate, which ensures uninterrupted pump unit operation, preventing the pressure increase beyond the permissible level of the production casing and formations, the well is stopped for technological holding for 168-180 hours.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in water influx isolation in flooded carbonate reservoirs due to pumping water isolating reagent with the specific isolated interval injectivity, reduced viscosity of water isolating reagent, simplified isolation operations by making them in without preliminaly liftining of downhole pumping equipment installation and use of a unit with a flexible pipe.
