FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: vibration sensor with thermocouple is moved to the sample liquid by means of a stepper motor, measure the characteristics of density, viscosity and temperature of the medium in the tank at different depths of the sensor immersion for a certain length of its movement and is determined based on the measured characteristics of the environment parameters of liquids and border levels stratification levels between the media liquid / air oil / produced water. Moving of the sensor in liquid is produced in two stages: first sensor is immersed in the test liquid to the bottom of the tank and get rough information on the levels of the boundaries between the media, and then lift the sensor to its exit from the liquid one or more times by stopping it and making accurate measurements of environment characteristics. If necessary, a more precise measurement level interface between oil / produced water environments while lifting its sensor once / repeatedly moves back and forth across the border between the media alleged.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of measurements.
