METHOD AND DEVICE FOR WINDING OF METAL STRIP WITH DEFECT DETECTION IN THE LINE OF CONTINUOUS ROLLING Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B21C47/24 

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises continuous winding onto at least one reel (10, 20) of the winding revolving station (3). The following stages are performed: the strip is cut with the first scissors (4) positioned upstream from the winding station to form the last lap of the obtained roll. The winding of another roll onto another reel is carried out, the last lap of the obtained roll (1, 1', 1" …) is rotated around the reel (10) axis and lowered onto the feed table (6) which is positioned on the extension of the line downstream from the winding station and verification table (8) for detecting defects of the strip positioned behind it; the strip is pushed along the feed table (6) and the verification table (8), cut with the second scissors (7) to separate the sample; the sample is examined on the verification table (8) for detecting defects of the strip.

EFFECT: improved conditions and higher winding quality and simultaneous defect verification of the rolled strip.
