FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: rotational viscometer includes the measuring unit with the cylindrical chamber, filled with the analyzed liquid and located in it the movable sensing element, driven by the electric motor and the rotation period measuring system, the movable sensing element is rotated by the brushless DC rotor with the power consumption monitoring system and the turning angle. A that the sensing element is performed integral with the rotor in the form of the thin-walled hollow cylinder with the integrated permanent magnets of the brushless DC, and the cylindrical displacer is coaxially installed inside the movable sensing element, so as to provide the same shear rate of the analyzed liquid in the outer and inner clearance of the sensing element; includes the high-pressure multiplier chamber, in which the measuring unit is placed, and the independent inductive turning angle control system.

EFFECT: increasing of the viscosity measurement sensitivity and accuracy at different shear rates of the analyzed liquid, providing the possibility of the liquid viscosity measuring at the pressure above atmospheric, expansion of the measured viscosities range.
