FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recycling and collection of biomass of cyanobacteria in open and closed water reservoirs and in bioreactors. Proposed is a macroporous sorbent based on granules of copolymers that contain from two to three fragments selected from following: glycidyl methacrylate, allyl glycidyl ether, methyl methacrylate, styrene, dimethacrylate triethylene glycol, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, divinyl benzene. Copolymer contains covalently immobilized reagents selected from dimethylamine, or ammonia, or triethylamine, or ethylenediamine, or diethylenetriamine or polyethyleneimine.
EFFECT: sorbent is effective for removal of cyanobacteria from water.
