FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method relates to photobiotechnology, industrial microbiology, aquaculture, ecology, algology, biochemistry, can also be used in food industry, animal industry in production of fodder, in medical and veterinary microbiology. Method comprises selection of pairs that are productive on biomass, consisting of phototrophic (cyanobacteria, green microalgae) and heterotrophic microorganisms (actinomycetes). In pure cultures and mixed pairs during growth by dioxyphenylalanine (DOPA) indicator, reactivity of native examinabilities released into medium is determined, said native exometabolites possessing oxidative (OA) or antioxidative (AOA) integral activity. Control is medium for cultivation of microorganisms, in which there are no native exometabolites. Selected productive pair giving highest biomass has opposite value of reactivity (OA or AOA), which are determined in pure and mixed cultures at the beginning of the exponential phase for first 1.5-2 days of growth, which testifies to best compatibility of partners therein.

EFFECT: compatibility of partners in pair, significantly accelerated selection of pair, as well as higher yield of biomass of microorganisms.
