ELECTROCONDUCTIVE COATINGS CONTAINING PARTICLES OF GRAPHENIC CARBON Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC C01B32/184 B82B1/00 B82Y30/00 B82Y40/00

Abstract RU 2620396 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: composition of electoconductive coating comprises a film-forming resin and 0.1-95 wt % by weight of graphene carbon particles obtained thermally, based on total solids content in combination with another type of graphene particles, for example obtained from thermally expanded graphite. The graphene carbon particles obtained by thermal method contain less than 1.5 at.% of oxygen, have aBET surface area of less than 300 m2/G and average aspect ratio of more than 3:1. For obtaining graphene particles by thermal method, a precursor material containing methane or hydrocarbon material capable of forming variety of two-carbon fragments is introduced into thermal zone at a temperature of 3500-20000°C, then heated and collected the resulting particles. The film-forming resin contains epoxy resins, polyacrylates, polyester polymers, polyurethane polymers, polyamide polymers, polyether polymers, bisphenol A-based epoxy polymers, polysiloxane polymers, styrene, ethylene, butylene, core/shell polymers, polymeric particles, dispersed in non-aqueous medium, their copolymers and mixtures, latex resin or resin, dispersed in non-aqueous medium. The electroconductivity of cured composition is at least 1000 S/m. The thickness of dry film of electrically conductive coating obtained from said composition is 1-100 mcm.

EFFECT: improved properties.
