SUBSTANCE: in the manufacture of thermal barrier coating of the front cover body rocket motor the solid fuel, comprising an annular insert made of composite material, separating a thermal barrier coating on the central and peripheral portions is carried out the filling of the mould installed therein lid preheated rubber mixture through sprues mould cavity. Produce first through filling directed to the central part of the matrix cover sprues precluding passage rubber composition to the peripheral portion of the cover by moulding a thermal barrier coating in the central portion of the lid seating surface for an annular insert. Matrix is then removed from the mould and set an annular insert. Then produce filling directed through the peripheral portion of the lid sprues of another matrix moulding thermal barrier coating covers the remaining surface.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve the quality and reduce the complexity of manufacturing a thermal barrier coating of the front cover of the rocket engine housing.
