DC LINK DECOUPLING NETWORK FOR PARALLEL INVERTERS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC H02M7/493 H02P5/74

Abstract RU 2620580 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: DC link decoupling network is implemented in combination with two inverters that are connected in parallel to the common DC power line, and each inverter drives one of the different traction motors, each of the two inverters provided with a shutdown means for disconnecting the corresponding inverter from the power line in the event of a failure. The noted circuit of the DC link is provided with means for attenuation/damping of the resonance oscillations, made in the form of an RL filter (of a resistive-inductive filter). This invention also relates to an electric locomotive, comprising at least two electric motors, each motor is controlled by at least one of the two inverters, each of these inverters is powered by common power supply line, each of the noted two inverters is provided with switching off means for disconnecting the corresponding inverter from the noted power line in the event of failure. A means for decoupling the DC link to eliminate the resonance conditions of these inverters is proposed, this means is an RL filter consisting of a parallel-connected quenching choke and a quenching resistor.

EFFECT: improved reliability, capacity.
