FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a device for suturing tissue. In the method, a device for suturing tissue contains a stitching head assembly, a shaft assembly and a handle assembly. Said shaft assembly is connected to the stapling head assembly. Said handle assembly is connected to the shaft assembly. Said handle assembly comprises a motor, a motor housing positioner and a selection assembly. Said motor is located inside the motor housing. Said motor housing positioner is connected to the proximal end of the motor housing. Said motor housing positioner is made with the possibility of translational movement between the proximal position and the distal position, and the motor is made with the possibility of translational movement together with the motor housing positioner. Said selection assembly is configured to select between the motorized operation of the stapling head assembly using an electric drive or manual operation of the stapling head assembly based on the position of the motor housing positioner. In the second embodiment, the device for suturing tissue contains the closing assembly, the starting assembly and the drive unit. Said closing assembly is configured to clamp tissue between the anvil and the stapling head assembly. Said starting assembly is configured to push the scalpel and at least one clamp through tissue from the stapling head assembly to the anvil. Said drive unit comprises a motor, a swivel element, a starting rod and a closing rod. Said swivel element is connected to the motor. Said starting rod is made with the possibility of activating the starting system. Said closing rod is adapted to activate the closing system. Said swivel element is configured to selectively switch between the engagement of the starting rod or the closing rod so that the motor is configured to activate the starting rod when the swivel element is engaged with the starting rod. Above motor is configured to activate the closing rod when the swivel element is engaged with the closing rod. In the third embodiment, the device for suturing tissue contains a stapling head assembly, a barrel assembly and a handle assembly. Said handle assembly comprises a motor, a turn handle and a selection assembly. Its motor is made with the ability to put the stapling head assembly in the operation mode using the electric drive. Said turn handle is made with the possibility of translational movement between the first position and the second position. Said turn handle is made with the ability to activate the stapling head assembly in the manual mode. Said selection unit is configured to provide an operation mode using an electric drive when the turn handle is in the first position, and the selection unit is configured to provide manual operation mode when the turn handle is in the second position. This group of inventions is characterized by the fact that the operator can easily and quickly switch the device into the manual operation mode by simply pulling the turn handle, without limiting the basic functionality of the device.
EFFECT: circular stapling instrument with a choice of control using the electric drive and manual control is proposed.
