At least some of the artifacts can not be produced in a controlled manner in the production of an untested printed object; the information related to the untested printed object artifacts is extracted, the information related to the untested printed object artifacts is ranked, the ranked information related to the untested printed object artifacts is extracted from the storage device. In each of the first and the second ranges of values the ranked information related to the untested printed object artifacts is compared with the ranked information related to the original printed object artifacts.
