SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ionic liquids suitable for use while cooling technical devices in high-temperature medium, the technical device temperature being from 500 to 2,000°C. The cooling medium comprises an ionic with the liquid bonded hydrogen content from 0 to 8.5 wt %.
EFFECT: reducing or even excluding the formation of gaseous decomposition products in cooling media on the basis of the ionic liquid.
