FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: laser measuring system for measuring geometric parameters of a sheet moving along a roller table intended for collection consists of a set of, at least, nine laser triangulation sensors of 2D profilometers located above the surface of a steel sheet on a frame mounted on a portal forming, at least, three measuring lines IL1, IL2, IL3 at a distance of 500 mm from each other, perpendicular to the axis of the roller table. At least, three sensors in the first row, in the second row and in the third row form the laser rulers L1, L2, L3 with the distances between the sensors in each row. Moreover, the lines satisfy the condition of overlapping the "survey" zones of the laser rulers L1, L2, L3 so that there is no discontinuity between the measurements within the IL line and processing primary data used for constructing the virtual model of the sheet surface in each of its measuring lines and rows.

EFFECT: ability to measure the flatness, sickle and width of the sheet and to exclude the influence on the results of measurements of vibrations, bends and torsional vibrations of the sheet surface as it moves along the roller table.
