FIELD: pipes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for measuring the geometric parameters of electric-welded pipes of various diameters and a system for measuring geometric parameters of electric-welded pipes. Method for measuring geometric parameters of electric-welded pipes of various diameters and the system, implementing the claimed method, comprise steps, providing for both progressive feeding of pipes into the control zone by means of a carry-over table, and transverse loading of pipes by means of relays/walkers, lifting of the pipe by means of lifting and rotating rollers and phased organization of control over the geometric parameters of electric-welded pipes using linear triangulation laser scanners on the principle of optical triangulation, radiation is projected onto the pipe, and the resulting image of the pipe contour is analyzed by a microprocessor, which calculates the distance to the pipe for each point of the projection of the laser beam in the frame. Wherein, the pipe, crossing the scanners of construction of the "virtual axis" of the pipe, allows to estimate its nominal diameter and prepare a task for "lifting" the pipe, as soon as the pipe enters the control zone, modules for control of chamfer geometry and pipe wall thicknesses, positioning is finished and stopped in the "control" position, lifting of the pipe to ensure the "enter" of the pipe in the working area of the scanners is carried out on the lifting and rotating rollers along an inclined trajectory taking into account its diameter, so that triangulation laser scanners of the system for measuring a diameter, ovality, curvature and length of the pipe are in the same plane with the longitudinal axis of the pipe, pipe is rotated and scanned within one rotation, during which the scanners register the ends of the pipe, at the end of rotation, the pipe is lowered onto the carry-over table, modules for control of chamfer geometry return to their original position, pipe is "transferred" to the next technological stage, measurement completion mark and a "validity" mark, which are applied by an automatic paint detector, are assigned to the pipe.

EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy in determining the geometric parameters of electric-welded pipes.
