FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine has at least one head (1a) of the cylinder block. The head (1a) of the cylinder block has at least one cylinder and accommodates at least part of the valve mechanism. The lid (8) being connectable to at least one head (1a) of the cylinder block and closes the valve mechanism portion, which accommodated the head (1a) of the cylinder block. The engine has at least one inlet line, which belongs to the system (2) inlet and is used to supply at least one charge-air cylinder. Wherein each cylinder has at least one inlet port for entering the charge air. The engine has an exhaust gas inlet system for discharging exhaust gases. Fueled by the coolant cooler (7) is located in the charge air system (2) contains the elements and the inlet through which the coolant can flow. The lid (8) surrounds and accommodates the cooling elements (7), the charge air like casing, whereby the elements are located between at least one head (1a) and the cover cylinder (8).

EFFECT: preventing the formation of condensation when using the EGR low pressure system, achieving a dense arrangement of the drive unit.
