SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in cases of using single-position radio wave detection device (DD) for signaling cover of two nearby roads. The method consists in deploying DD on the road section where they lie to each other at an angle of 20 degrees or more and at a distance not exceeding 80% of the maximum possible length of the DZ DD in such a way that its DZ crosses both roads; In the orientation of the DZ axis to one road at a right angle, to another road at an angle other than a straight line; issuing a DD alarm in the event of an intruder crossing his DZ; analysis of the Doppler frequency response of the reflected signal at the output of the DD signal processing circuit during the entire time the intruder was in his DZ; The subsequent application of the algorithm for determining the direction of the violator by the presence of a positive or negative Doppler frequency of the reflected signal, taking into account the deployment pattern of the detection means only along the road to which the axis of the detection zone is oriented at an angle different from the straight line; determining the directions of motion along the road to which the axis of the detection zone is oriented at right angles, in pairs, according to the presence of an alternating Doppler addition of the frequency of the reflected signal. The method includes the preparatory stage with the deployment according to the developed scheme of the DD and the main stage, which begins from the moment of the intruder's entry into the DZ of the DDSC during which it is detected and the direction of its movement is determined.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of indicating the direction of motion of the detected intruder with the use of only one single-position radio-wave detection means.
