FIELD: monitoring systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to security monitoring methods of terrain. Method consists in deployment of protection means (PM) on terrain with road section; providing a condition in which the area of the first Fresnel zone of the detection zone above the road is several times greater than the area of the human silhouette and is commensurate with the area of the vehicle, for this, when deploying the PM, the minimum distance between the receiver (RC) and the transmitter (TM) of the PM is set to not less than 50 % of the maximum possible length of the zone, and the PS and the TM are located at an equal distance from the road axis; detecting, by corresponding threshold blocks of the extracted RC, a useful signal in form of a sequence of alternating positive and negative low modulation depths when the intruder crosses the zone, recording a single negative ejection of a large modulation depth when crossing the area by an intruder, application of the algorithm of recognition of the method of movement of the intruder detected on the road to the received signals.

EFFECT: possibility of recognizing the method of movement of an intruder detected on the road – on foot or on a vehicle using one detection means.
