FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: spark plug contains a main tubular casing, shielded ceramic tube, a sparking insulator that is placed in the main tubular casing, in the inner channel of which a central electrode is fixed with a glass sealant, an additional casing, sealing insulator. The sparking insulator is fixed in the main tubular casing by a copper wedge sleeve and O-ring of the glass sealant. The main tubular casing is made of two coaxial sleeves and a side electrode welded to the casing.
EFFECT: improved reliability of spark plugs for power and engine units, working in intermittent service mode with a duration of not more than 10 minutes at high pressure in the combustion chamber by avoiding leaks of fuel mixture through them.
