FIELD: spark plugs.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spark plugs. A semiconductor spark plug is proposed, containing: a L-shaped housing and a screen ceramic tube, a ceramic insulator, a ceramic semiconductor element in the form of a ring, a central electrode consisting of a rod and a working part, a glass sealant enclosed between the housing, the semiconductor element and the rod. The free end of the L-shaped case made of heat-resistant metal is provided with an external thread, between the L-shaped case and the screen ceramic tube there is a corrugated gasket made of heat-resistant steel tape, the working part of the central electrode in the place of its snug fit to the semiconductor element is equipped with an electrode contact made from an alloy of 80% silver and 20% palladium. The semiconductor element in the form of a ring has grooves on the side of the body and a stepped hole, an additional ring of glass sealant is located in the radial gap between the body in the place of its stepped expansion and the outer diameter of the ceramic insulator.
EFFECT: ensuring stable and durable operation of the spark plug in small-sized gas turbine and liquid-propellant jet engines using various types of fuel and without complicating the design.
