FIELD: pharmacy.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a suspension of agglomerates of magnetic metal nanoparticles coated with alkoxysilane. The said metal nanoparticles comprise iron, complex compounds of iron, carbonyl compounds of iron or iron salts. The mentioned water suspension of magnetic metal nanoparticles are incubated with alkoxysilane. Incubation is carried out in the absence of the added organic solvent. The said alkoxysilane is a trialkoxysilane. From 0.3 to 0,6×10-3 mole of trialkoxysilane is added to 0.9 mole of metal. The said incubation is carried out at pH between 2 and 6. There is also a description of a composition and a suspension of the said agglomerates, which are intended for the treatment of proliferative diseases, cancer or tumor in the patient; a medical device constituting said agglomerates, use and method of treatment.

EFFECT: inventions provide biocompatible magnetic particles with a high specific absorption rate that can be injected into the tumor tissue and remain at or near the site of injection.
