SUBSTANCE: in the method for treatment of bilateral laryngeal paralysis with respiratory function violation, including permanent or temporary lateral fixation of vocal folds, a device is used - a pneumatic laryngostepler containing a source of increased pressure, a high-pressure chamber where pressure is monitored by means of a pressure gauge and an emergency valve; a working cylinder partition equipped with a valve that opens at a given pressure, a working chamber, a working chamber piston with a stroke amount regulator connected to a pusher fitted into the cylinder and having a tip at its lower end corresponding to the back of the bracket. Moreover, the increased pressure chamber of the laryngostepler is equipped with the control of pressure created therein by the manometer and the emergency valve, the pressure chamber communicates with the working chamber by means of a valve that opens at a given pressure. Pressure on the bracket is transmitted from the piston by means of a pusher with a tip. The pusher cylinder has upper and lower protrusions for pre-fixation of the vocal fold. For lateral fixation of the vocal fold, staples with anchor protrusions on legs are used. The staples may be partially or completely made of a resorbable material - polymerized lactic acid or polysorb.

EFFECT: shortened operation time, its performance by internal access only, prevention of cicatricial, granulation complications.
