FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device is designed as a helical antenna (1) with an axial directional pattern (2) oriented towards the upper hemisphere for vertical sounding of the F2 ionosphere layer (5) in the wavelength range of 25…30 m. The length of the spiral coil (8) is ~30 m, the number of coils is 7, the coil pitch is 4.5 m. The antenna is suspended on the telescopic masts (6) from the composite material with the height of 32 m, braced by the braces (7). The coils (8) are fixed to the spiral masts (6) and isolated there from by the silicone insulators (9). The antenna is energized by the microwave transmitter (3) with a variable radiation frequency. Herewith one pole of the power sources (4) of the transmitter is connected to the earth electrode (10) of the antenna, made of the helical tubes (11) buried in the ground, in the parallel radially-annular circuit of the mirror counterweight mode.

EFFECT: creating the thermal beam with energy sufficient to ensure evaporation of the hovering cyclone cloud cover and providing the appearance of jet streams and restoring the natural circulation of air masses.
