FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of fire extinguishing, actuated in automatic mode with direct fire action on them, specifically to a method of producing a microencapsulated fire extinguishing agent (microcapsules) containing a polymer shell and a core from a fire extinguishing liquid, such as perfluoroethyl perfluoroisopropyl ketone, and as a coating material resorcinomato-formaldehyde resin. Described is a microencapsulated extinguishing agent containing microcapsules with a fire extinguishing liquid core of perfluoroethyl-perfluoroisopropyl ketone, placed inside a spherical polymer shell made of resorcinol-urea-formaldehyde resin, in which the polymer shell material contains a complex of resorcinol-urea-formaldehyde resin and polyvinyl alcohol, which is a mixture of polymers of different hydrolysis degree of 88–99 %, with the addition of a compound which increases the stability of the microcapsule, 3–10 % of weight hydrophilic plasticizer thermodynamically compatible with the polymer material of the coating. Also described is a method of producing a microencapsulated extinguishing agent.
EFFECT: high stability of microcapsules in storage and use conditions, including in variable temperature conditions, as well as high efficiency of equipment and reduced amount of hazardous production wastes.
