METHOD OF TANK EMPTYING (OPTIONS) Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC F02M21/02 F02M43/00 F02D19/08 F02D41/30

Abstract RU 2623352 C2

FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: system and method may be particularly useful for emptying the tanks, which are under pressure. The method of emptying the tank (91), which consists in the fact that only gaseous fuel is supplied to the engine when the fuel gas pressure is greater than the threshold pressure, and when the fuel gas pressure is less than the threshold pressure is supplied gaseous fuel and liquid fuel. According to the second embodiment of the method the gaseous fuel fed to the engine through the tank (91) to provide the engine with a gaseous fuel, and the first installation phase distribution valve (90) at a first state when the fuel gas pressure is greater than the first threshold value; and provide the engine with gaseous fuel and with the second phase distribution setting valve (90) at a first state when the fuel gas pressure is less than the first threshold. Setting the phase distribution of the engine valve is adjusted to help reduce the pressure inside the gas tank (91). According to the third embodiment the gaseous fuel is supplied to the engine through the tank (91) provide the engine at the first gaseous fuel injector (80) when the pressure of the gaseous fuel is greater than the first threshold value, and provide the engine at the second gas fuel nozzle (81) when the fuel gas pressure is less than the first threshold.

EFFECT: method for emptying the tank, in which the length of the engine and the vehicle can increase, while it may be applied to different types of fuel injection systems and gases, as well as to bi-fuel and mono-fuel engines, a method enables to reduce the amount of gaseous fuel, which can be discharged into the atmosphere, if the service procedure requires gas empty fuel tank.
