FIELD: engine devices and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel feed systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). The method is proposed for emptying a gaseous tank and closing a solenoid tank valve in response to leaks in a fuel line or a fuel distributor for the fuel, including stages at which the fuel tank is emptied by supplying only gaseous fuel to the engine at high pressure in the gaseous fuel tank and feeding gaseous fuel and liquid fuel at low pressure in the tank of gaseous fuel and emptying the tank by closing a valve of the gaseous fuel tank in response to low pressure downstream the valve of gaseous fuel tank and high pressure in the tank.
EFFECT: prevention of fuel loss from gas storage tank when leakage occurs.
