COMBINE HARVESTER FOR ROOT AND TUBER CROPS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A01D17/10

Abstract RU 2623470 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: combine harvester has a cutting device with a cutting element and a separating device, installed in series on the frame. Vertical cutting discs are mounted in the front part of the frame. The discs are mounted on an axis fixed on a hinged frame fixed by means of an axis on the row spacings of the crops to be harvested, with the possibility of adjusting the disc mounting by depth. Behind the cutting discs, ripping ploughshares are fixed, coupled to a pyler conveyor including pyler discs placed on the axes at an angle that ensures transverse movement of roots and tubers with soil. The pyler discs have drive sprockets that engage with the drive by a chain. The distance between the discs is taken from the condition of passing soil clots between them and preventing the passage of roots and tubers. Under the discs there is a lattice pallet with cells ensuring the separation of roots and tubers from soil. A chain-and-slat conveyor with lump crushers made of a resilient-elastic material is mounted above the ripping ploughshares and the pyler conveyor on the hinged frame. The slats of the chain-and-slat conveyor and the pyler discs are covered with an elastic material. The drive of the conveyor and the drive chain of the piler conveyor is made from a gearbox via chain drives. The pyler conveyor is mounted on the frame by means of a rotary axis. Output units of the chain-and-slat and the pyler conveyors are located in the inner cavity of the drum loading conveyor having annular rods and root and tuber gripping slats. In the upper part of the drum loading conveyor, a receiving-sloped tray for laying roots and tubers in vehicles is provided. The lower unit of the chain-and-slat conveyor is placed by means of sliding bearings on the axis of the vertical cutting discs. In the front part of the frame, the gearbox of a drum cutting apparatus drive is mounted on the bracket. The cutting apparatus is controlled via a hydraulic cylinder. Unitizing the combine harvester for roots and tubers is made through frame eyelets. The drive of all mechanisms of the combine harvester is made from the power take-off shaft of the tractor through the cardan gear. The pyler conveyor has enclosing beads to avoid loss of roots and tubers. In the upper part of the ploughshare, in front of the coupling with the pyler conveyor, soil-destroying rollers are provided, mounted on the brackets by means of sliding bearings in the ripping ploughshare window.

EFFECT: reducing the draft resistance, complete separation of roots and tubers from soil, increased productivity.
